Ralf Hiemisch, born in 1967 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. From 2002-05 he trained to become an Alexander Technique teacher at the Ausbildungszentrum für F.M. Alexander-Technik Berlin (Berlin Training Centre for Alexander Technique), then received his diploma according to the guidelines of the German Society of Alexander Technique Teachers. He gives single and group lessons in Alexander Technique in Berlin and Frankfurt, and has also been self employed as an illustrator and graphic designer since 1993. Ralf first came into contact with the technique through experiencing personal health problems - headaches and back pain - which were caused mainly by the way he had been working at the computer.
He combines his experiences in both these occupations into the Alexander Technique workshops he gives in art institutes, and in graphics agencies.
